During the fourth RomAge Seminar, Filippo Incontro presented a draft of his paper for the International Medieval Congress in Leeds. The team discussed the paper and provided feedback on its argument, structure, and methodology. We continued our exploration of the project’s key readings, turning our attention to the second section of the selected literature. The seminar also featured a presentation by Vladimir Ivanovici of a draft paper for the Medieval Symposium in Leeds. With three RomAge workshops planned for the symposium, the team discussed the paper’s ideas, raised questions, and offered feedback to help develop the final version

RomAge Seminar

The RomAge team came together for the first time to officially launch our seminar series. We introduced the project’s main research questions and explored how sociological methods—especially the life-course approach—can help us understand the experiences of Romani communities across time. We also looked ahead, discussing future seminars and beginning to plan our contribution to upcoming conferences.
